My art is about belonging and (longing for) connection. This comes to expression through images of daily life, such as a house, a garden or a place in nature, and through rich natural materials. Here, I was inspired by cycling home in the dark. Feeling warm inside from the conversations. Shared thoughts, feelings, new insights. A feeling of belonging and connection, supported by the copper leaf used.
